Corporate Controller, $30M Startup, National FMCG & Retail Business
“Ken (PBS) has been a tremendous asset to our NetSuite implementation. From the start, he brought a deep financial acumen to the project—his fluency in financial terminology and processes made communication seamless, especially when translating needs between accounting and technical teams.
He was instrumental in setting up key financial workflows, including bank reconciliations and a complex commission structure. Prior to NetSuite, commissions were managed in Excel, but Ken successfully transitioned this process into the ERP system—bringing it to 98% completion with accuracy and automation in mind.
Ken is consistently a step ahead. He’s typically ready for the next phase of implementation before others are even thinking about it. His proactive approach kept the momentum strong throughout the project.
In addition to his financial expertise, Ken stepped in to support areas beyond his core responsibilities—most notably, he provided critical help with our SPS Commerce EDI integration when custom solutions from other teams were falling short. His ability to step in and troubleshoot issues from both functional and technical perspectives made a huge difference. Ken proved himself as a collaborative and highly capable consultant who truly understands how to bridge the gap between systems and strategy."”

“Working with PBS and Ken has been an incredible experience. From day one, I never once felt like we weren’t his top priority. I wear a lot of hats—finance, HR, IT, and general business administration—so having someone like Ken, who could understand and manage the complexity across departments and systems, made all the difference.
When we began our NetSuite implementation, the goal was to move everything into the new system—including data from 2023 and 2024, and credit card transactions. Unfortunately, our previous NetSuite instance was messy—data didn’t tie together properly and reporting was broken. Ken took on the challenge of cleaning up the entire system, reconfiguring transaction-by-transaction to ensure accuracy and consistency across the board.
He helped transform our reporting by ensuring our Profit & Loss statements reflected true numbers by business unit and job. He fixed issues with bank feeds that weren’t syncing properly and kept getting disconnected, and he matched and cleaned up duplicate and triplicate transactions from exported CSV files—projects that required a level of heavy lifting our team simply didn’t have the time for.
Ken also supported critical integrations, including Celigo and our ongoing ADP payroll integration. We have two team members supporting accounting internally, and Ken worked closely with them to ensure everything was cleaned up, accurate, and that invoices tied back correctly to our EIN and bank accounts across two separate NetSuite instances.
We didn’t have a working solution for 1099s, but Ken worked tirelessly through the busy month of January to find one. What stands out most is his ability to truly listen—he has a gift for digesting complex input and repeating it back in a way that makes you feel completely understood and confident in the path forward.
Ken is a rare consultant: attentive, thorough, and genuinely committed to delivering results.”
